What Do PWP Members Do?

• Network with other writers.

• Share questions and expertise with aspiring and advanced writers.

• Hear award-winning authors, editors, and marketing / publishing experts speak. Recent topics: Fiction, elements of fiction, creative nonfiction, biographies/memoir, poetry, genre fiction, juvenile fiction, POD fiction, agents, contests, electronic media.
   

• Display publications at PWP meetings.
   

• Enter the annual PWP Writing Contest with fiction, nonfiction, and poetry entries.

• Join critique groups with like-minded writers.

• Learn about current calls for submissions, writing contests, marketing tips, classes and more.

• Post website and book sale links on the PWP Members Pages and bios on the PWP Meet Yourself feature.
   

• Receive the monthly PWP Newsletter and monthly PWP website updates.
   

• Stay updated on local, regional, national, and international writing and fellowship opportunities.

MEMBERSHIP THROUGH DECEMBER 2010
$15 +  $5 additional for hard copy newsletter

Operating costs are going up. One of PWP's larger expenses is sending the monthly newsletter through the U.S. Mail. While the majority of our members prefer to receive their newsletter via e-mail, which costs PWP nothing, there are those who are either unable to receive it electronically or prefer to read a hard copy.  We want everyone to receive their newsletter in the way that suits them best. However, the PWP Board requests all members who wish to receive a newsletter via U.S. mail pay an additional $5 with 2010 dues in order to defray the cost of printing and postage.

Otherwise, the PWP Newsletter is e-mailed as a virus-free PDF file that can be saved in your document files and printed from your home computer. Thank you for your support!
