PRESCOTT, Ariz. - Even before the death of her six-and-a-half-month-old grandson, Diane Line's life had been guided by a greater force that she could not explain. Afterwards, her only respite from grief was found in a daily journal, where she uncovered the evidence of a presence in her life that would continue to affirm itself to Line and her grieving daughter. This journal proved to be Line's salvation, providing her with hope and solace as she chronicled her journey from loss to rejuvenated life. In her collection of memoirs, At Heaven's Doorway: Mystical Golden Roses for Spiritual Growth (published by AuthorHouse), Line offers readers a glimpse into one woman's trials, triumphs, spiritual discovery, and an opportunity to share in her life's revelations.
Through the retelling of the vivid memories about her early life and times spent with family and friends, Line compiles a moving, powerful portrait of what it means to live completely. Interwoven among stories of her childhood and family are instances in which the supernatural has touched her life. She shares her incredible experiences after her spiritual senses were awakened, and she comes to understand her natural psychic and spiritual abilities with instruction in self-awareness and metaphysical training. Line realizes, after the death of her grandson Luke Carrington, that she had been given the blessing of these brushes with the divine, which would guide her and her daughter through the darkest days of their mourning. During this time, Line and her daughter are blessed with numerous spiritual events, including the scent of roses on Luke's baby blanket, visions, dreams, and visits from the child. Candid, poignant, and empowering, At Heaven's Doorway tells the true story of one woman's transformative experience. Surpassing the likes of other denominational books, Line's memoir is a powerful testament to personal strength, faith, and a family's capacity to come together and heal. "It is not my intention to change your beliefs about your faith, but rather to strengthen your love of God," Line tells her readers. "I realize what I have written may be somewhat startling and possibly unbelievable. Yet my narrative is true, no matter how incredible it may sound."
~ AuthorHouse Press Release Praise for At Heaven's Doorway: "This reviewer doesn't often use the word 'beautiful' to describe a book or an author . . . but Diane Line and At Heaven's Doorway are beautiful!" ~ Richard Fuller, Senior Editor of Metaphysical Reviews
"I was hooked in the first few pages. The book does not 'preach.' It is a personal history of trial and error, finding fulfillment and rewards in the life's multiple experiences and associations. Diane's relationships resound with divine healing messages, but she is in no way dictatorial. Her spiritual experiences are laid before the reader with sincerity and believability." ~ Willma Willlis Gore, Author of Long Distance Grandparenting, Just Pencil Me In and Your Guide to Moving and Getting Settled
